Health Awareness and Training Session Organised for Service Pensioners

In a proactive move toward senior health and safety, Help for Helpless (H4H) organised a specialised health awareness and training session for the members of the Vypeen Service Pensioners Cooperative Society. The event was held at the H.I.H.S. School Hall in Edavanakkad, focusing on health management and emergency response for retirees.
The session was led by Dr. Manu P. Vishwath, President of Help for Helpless, who provided the participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on training. Joining him in leading the classes was C.S. Jayadevan, a retired AEO and an active member of H4H. The training team also included H4H Treasurer K.G. Anil Kumar and Captain M.K. Sashi, who assisted in the practical demonstrations.
The program was well-received by the veteran community. During the event, Dr. Purushan K.S., President of the Pensioners Society, Secretary Babu K.M., and Devarajan Master addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of staying health-conscious and prepared for medical emergencies during one's retirement years. The interactive nature of the class ensured that the pensioners gained the confidence to handle basic medical situations effectively.
