Objectives

Aims and Objectives of the Society

  1. To create the sense of brother hood, co-operation, mutual harmony, love and affection amongst members and to help them in distress.
  2. To work and collaborate with government and non-governmental institutions and agencies on select sectors of health and education services.
  3. To carry out charitable health services in hospitals with special focus on Government Hospitals for the benefit of general public, especially for the poor people, accident victims, orphans and abandoned people who are unable to afford best medical practices.
  4. To open and run hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical shops, mobile medical units, health research centers, blood and organ banks, drug banks, poor homes etc to fulfill the objectives of the Society.
  5. To volunteer in rehabilitation works during natural disasters.
  6. To organise medical camps for the benefit of poor and needy people.
  7. To operate ambulance service and make it available for the poor and needy people at concessional rates.
  8. To promote organ and blood donations and build and maintain a database of donors.
  9. To develop, build and operate a useful health and safety information system for the benefit of people.
  10. To encourage people who can donate garments, blankets, rugs, cloths, drugs, and/or other articles of necessity and distribute the same to the needy people.
  11. To encourage people by granting prizes, awards, certificates etc. for their special contribution in the areas of health and safety services, accident care etc.
  12. To collect information, notices, notifications, policies from the government, semi government, national / international agencies and NGO and provide the same to members of society and general public.
  13. To carry out evaluation studies on the impact of medical and health care policies, systems, programmes, schemes, projects, institutions etc.
  14. To support and carryout research programmes in the different areas of health, medicine, safety, disaster management and risk reduction etc for the benefit of the mankind.
  15. To design and conduct training programmes, workshops, courses, certification programmes etc in different areas of health and safety.
  16. To carryout mass education programmes and child education programmes in the areas of health and safety.
  17. To manufacture and market various equipments, kits etc in the health and safety segments.
  18. To promote safety awareness among the community and introduce personal protective and other safety equipments to prevent accidental death.
  19. To pursue with various agencies i.e. Health Services Departments of the State of Kerala, NRHM, MCI, ICMR, Govt. of India, Govt. of Kerala, UN agencies etc regarding the matters relating to the aims and objectives of the society.
  20. To co-ordinate with other institutions to enhance services.
  21. To take initiatives for fund raising, subscriptions, grant-in-aid, loans, donations in consistence with objects and activities of the society.
  22. To purchase or acquire lands the society’s requirements and other establishments and to construct buildings thereon for the cause of society.
  23. To erect, construct, alter, maintain, sell, lease, mortgage, transfer, improve, manage and / or develop all or any part of the property or the building of the society that are necessary or convenient for the purpose of the attainment of the aims and objects of the society.
  24. To invest, dispose off, transfer and otherwise deal with and various other matters of the society.
  25. To perform all such acts as may be necessary for the achievement and accomplishment of the above mentioned aims and objects and allied social activities.
